Nestled between the Wendelstein and Tegernsee Mountains, the Alpenhotel am Spitzingsee is located 1,085 meters above sea level. We are surrounded by an enchanting world of unspoiled nature and blissful serenity alongside the crystal-clear waters of Lake Spitzingsee. Furnished in a charming country-house style, our 120 guest rooms and suites will make you feel right at home. Bavarian culture and traditions with its warm wood, sunny colors, and attention to detail will wrap you in comfort. Step onto your private balcony and enjoy wonderful views of the mountains and glittering waters. Share a delightful evening over culinary delicacies at our restaurants, “König Ludwig Stube” and “Osteria L´Oliva”. Furnished in an elegant country-house style, our 120 guest rooms, studios, and apartments reflect the love of Bavarian culture and traditions. Warm wood, light colours, and attentive details exude a cosy atmosphere. Located in two buildings connected by a passageway, all rooms offer a balcony and are non-smoking. Our Mountain View rooms offer a choice of a double bed or a queen-sized bed. The balconies of the Scenic View rooms on the south side offer a view of the southernmost tip of Lake Spitzingsee and wonderful mountain scenery. Internet access is available by request. Our Lake View rooms are distinguished by their unique vista of the entire Lake Spitzingsee and the surrounding mountain landscape. The Studios offer all the amenities of the South View and Lake View rooms, but are between five and 10 m² larger. Our apartments are furnished in the Alpine-style with a spacious room layout and offer all the comforts of our Lake View rooms - either with one or two bedrooms. You have the choice of a mountain or lake view. In our Hypoallergenic Suite, the furniture is made of untreated solid wood with a beeswax finish, the carpets are in pure new wool, all walls have wood fibre insulation, and they are decorated with only mineral-based wall paint.
