Gustav Mahler composed two of his major works in Toblach, which will open the South Tyrol Festival every year: ‘Das Lied von der Erde’ and the 9th Symphony.

In addition to Mahler’s music there will be presented music by contemporary composers, Richard Strauss – Mahlers musical counterpart - and his ‘Alpensymphonie’ and the world of the Bel Canto, where the dramatic art of the voice coincides with the melody of the orchestra.

Heugabel Weeks

As one of the oldest market villages of the South Tyrol, San Candido will follow the tradition of the farmer´s market with a demanding and innovative program.
The project is called "Heugabel" and describes the farmer market and the farmer life.

   7 days in half-board

   We start to a mill and after two hours
   we will know a lot of interest things about it.
