Hi
I am living in Austria as an Expat from GB. I have now visited Weinebene 7 or 8 times spending nearly 20 days there in total this season, which by the way started early December 2010. I really love the place, its small yes but for beginners like myself it has so much to offer.
I would not hesitate to recommend this place if you are just starting out and looking to gain a bit of confidence whilst improving your technique.
It is a little south of many of the bigger resorts which does mean it gets a little less snow at times but they also have the snow cannons to spray the area if needed which so far this year I think has been once, and it is only mid January.
Anyway enough said, take a look good for lower abilities definitely, no queues for lifts and not to pricey also.
