Blizzard team fortified for the season 2006/2007

The Blizzard Sports Corporation has fortified the racing team for the season 2006 / 2007 by numerous top-athletes. Altogether the team has been doubled its size from 15 to now 31 racers.

Numerous top-class skiers from the international world-cup scene could be won for the Blizzard team. For instance the extravagant Japanese Slalom star Akira Sasaki. For the men’s team the Austrian Norbert Holzknecht and the Norwegian slalom and giant slalom specialist Truls Ove Karlsen were engaged.

On the women’s team as well some famous faces will ski on BLIZZARD in the future. New in the world-cup team for the coming season are Silvia Berger (AUT), Anne Marie Müller (NOR), Ingrid Rumpfhuber (AUT) as well as Line Viken (NOR) and Petra Zakourilova (CZ).

Of course BLIZZARD keeps on counting on the well proven athletes of past seasons. The strong Austrian team with Lizz Görgl, Brigitte Obermoser, Katja Wirth, Andreas Omminger and the currently still injured Olympia second in Turin, Reinfried Herbst.
Few days before the start of the season in the Finnish Levi the race-sports-head Dieter Bartsch looks confidently upon the coming winter. "In the future we want to extend our strong position in slalom and attack in all disciplines. Furthermore we want to focus on the promotion of our young talents and future racers."
