The new 2008-2009 SPORTMACHINE boots series was specifically engineered to give high performance skiers more leverage over their skis. NFS (Natural Foot Stance) is designed to put the feet in an abducted position by using the heel as a central point of reference, simply put, the NFS veers the foot towards the outside edge. This foot position provides faster turn initiation with stronger edge grip and better ski control throughout the entire turn, simply put, more performance, precision and better balance.
Sportmachine boots mount Energy Driver strap that ensures maximum flexibility and elastic response. To make boot opening and closing even easier, Sportmachine mounts Servolock buckles – designed to ensure trouble-free closing and reduce the effort it generally entails – and macro-adjustable ratchet.
The Flex Adjuster selector allows the skier to choose between 2 flexibility levels (hard-soft) by turning the selector 90°
• Hard is for tight radius turns on ice and hard packed snow
• Soft is for great flexibility during off-piste descents and for wide radius turns
