Nordica WOMAN LINE OLYMPIA
To make women happy you have to give them what they want: and this is the promise that the NORDICA Women’s range keeps. Olympia means high performance, comfort and a wonderful look. For women, Nordica proposes skis and boots featuring new designs and very lively colours for every level of skill, style and taste. The proposals don’t only have a new look but also new technical features. The micro-adjustable cuff profile used for the 2007-08 Olympia collection guarantees boot comfort and performance. This technology lets you customize the boot: by turning the two screws located under the rear strap you can reduce or increase the top circumference of the cuff (0 to 8mm), and adapt the boot to the shape of your leg. Farewell to cold feet! To make women happy you also need to protect them. That’s why Nordica developed EXTRA WARMTH, an innovative technology used in all OLYMPIA innerboots that maximizes heat insulation. The EXTRA WARMTH lining combines three layers of material: • A layer of super-soft fabric in contact with the foot (some models have fleece or fur); • A layer of open-cell foam material that wraps the foot comfortably; • A layer of closed-cell material in contact with the shell that favours heat insulation. Moreover, an extra layer of padding has been added inside the tongue of all OLYMPIA innerboots in order to ensure ULTRA COMFORT in the shinbone contact area. The Olympia models have WOMEN’S FIT innerboots and cuffs that were specifically created to match the female anatomy. They feature a lower top-rear profile to make them fit better, and even adapt to the most dissimilar calf muscles. WOMEN’S FIT also means different boot flexibility: every individual pair of boots of the OLYMPIA range were designed with a softer flex index than the men’s boots in order to match women’s lower physical stamina. The FOOTBEDS too are WOMEN’S FIT and come in two models designed to respond different needs: COMFORT WOMEN’S FIT • Peak performance • Arch support • Maximizes heat insulation • Fleece plus two layers of material (open-cell and closed cell) for unbeatable softness and warmth. PRECISION WOMEN’S FIT • Derived from the COMFORT footbed • Enhanced stiffness due to the heel stabilizer • Top performance • Enhanced arch support • Super soft and comfortable. |
