Sensational Werner Heel wins in Kvitfjell

Italian racer Werner Heel had a sensational run on Friday and won the first of two downhills in Kvitfjell (NOR). Heel beat American Bode Miller by 0,10 seconds and celebrated his first World Cup win of his career.Raich with no points With the second place Miller improved his chances of winning the Overall World Cup as his opponents couldn´t collect many points. Didier Cuche was sixth, his worst result in this discipline since November, and Benjamin Raich didn´t get any points. Kroell with a podium finish The Austrian Klaus Kroell on the other hand made a podium for the Austrian team as he came in third. Directly behind him was Manuel Osborne-Paradis from Canada with Marco Buechel coming in fifth. SKI WORLD CUP |
