NORDICA WOMAN LINE OLYMPIA
The new Olympia boots collection presents Olympia Speedmachine models, Olympia Gransport models, and the new Olympia Sport range. Olympia Sport models offer the highest level of technology. NFS - Natural Foot Stance is designed to put the feet in an abducted position by using the heel as a central point of reference, simply put the NFS veers the foot towards the outside edge. This foot position provides faster turn initiation, with stronger edge grip and better ski control throughout the entire turn, simply put less effort and better balance, more performance, more precision. The micro-adjustable cuff profile used for the 2008-09 Olympia collection guarantees boot comfort and performance. This technology lets you customize the boot: by turning the two screws located under the rear strap you can reduce or increase the top circumference of the cuff (0 to 8mm), and adapt the boot to the shape of your leg. To make women happy you also need to protect them. That’s why Nordica developed EXTRA WARMTH, an innovative technology used in all OLYMPIA innerboots that maximizes heat insulation. The EXTRA WARMTH lining combines three layers of material: • A layer of super-soft fabric in contact with the foot (some models have fleece or fur); • A layer of open-cell foam material that wraps the foot comfortably; • A layer of closed-cell material in contact with the shell that favours heat insulation. Moreover, an extra layer of padding has been added inside the tongue of all OLYMPIA innerboots in order to ensure ULTRA COMFORT in the shinbone contact area. The Olympia models have WOMEN’S FIT innerboots and cuffs that were specifically created to match the female anatomy. They feature a lower top-rear profile to make them fit better, and even adapt to the most dissimilar calf muscles. WOMEN’S FIT also means different boot flexibility: every individual pair of boots of the OLYMPIA range were designed with a softer flex index than the men’s boots in order to match women’s lower physical stamina. The FOOTBEDS too are WOMEN’S FIT and come in two models designed to respond different needs. FACTS - OLYMPIA SM 12: shell and cuff material: bi-injected Tr.
