Ski Arlberg is the big test winner of the past winter season

The Winterseason 2005 / 2006 is over and it´s absolutely clear who the outstanding test winner is. Nearly 50 ski resorts were tested by our team in the past season. The absolute winner is Ski Arlberg. The ski association with the winter sports villages Lech, Zürs and St. Anton am Arlberg were able to attain the top position in our ski resort ranking. Ski Arlberg has very few, to no deficits, in the different categories. Experts will be especially fond of the Tyrolean part of the ski resort, St. Anton. There beautiful pristine powder runs can be found around the Valluga. On the other hand the subarea Lech / Zürs caters especially to families and beginners. Advantageous is the fact that the entire ski resort can be explored with only one ski pass. Disadvantageous is fact that the two subareas St.Anton and Lech / Zürs are not connected, neither by slopes nor by lift facilities. If the Ski Arlberg responsibles were to achieve to interconnect the ski resorts via lift facilities chances are high they will remain on the very top of our ranking list. As our tests show, ski Arlberg caters excellently to all levels of ability. Our tip to the winter tourists: Plan a longer stay at the Arlberg and visit the Tyrolean part of the ski association St. Anton, as well as the subarea around the Vorarlberg Lech / Zürs.
