Wilder Kaiser - four towns act in concert

In January 2006 the four villages Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Soell joined forces and now form the tourism association “Wilder Kaiser”. Counting 1.8 million overnight stays per year, the four villages are one of the most powerful tourist regions in Tyrol. They are a standout due to the well-balanced proportion of winter and summer tourism. The cooperation at the Wilder Kaiser has been improving for several years now. This union’s purpose is to expand the cooperation in order to place a concentrated power on the market. While the outdoor advertisement in the form of “Wilder Kaiser Tourism Corporation” has been centralized, product development and service will continue to take place locally at the villages’ information offices. The overall concept is to place the region as a qualified vacation expert for every of the 4 seasons. While the focus is on skiing and snowboarding during the winter months, topics as hiking, golfing and the “family pleasure Wilder Kaiser” come to the fore in summer times.Since the 16th of October 2006 an entirely revised and updated website is on-line, where the visitor can find interesting information on the region with its four villages Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Soell.
