Adelboden is firmly established in the FIS-ski worldcup calendar: every year the ski circuit puts up its tents to host the giant slalom and slalom race. That‘s why you should not miss the chance to have a go on this worldcup trail (80) yourself. But experienced skiers do not get bored in the other parts of this ski region either. They will come to value not only the sheer size of the resort (185 kilometres of skiable terrain) but also the large number of intermediate level runs. Apart from the numerous red pistes however you will not find many black trails in Adelboden-Lenk. Among the best of the „most difficult“ pistes are the long black slopes Klusi and Wolfspiste (40 and 41) which descent from Luegli (2138m) to Geils. On Luegli, right next to the red trail Chummi (42), there is also one of the area‘s two speed tracks (number 54). Throughout the entire Adelboden-Lenk ski region six further permanent timekeeping racing tracks can be found, so that professionals can improve their technique in every single area. For all of those, who prefer to spend their time off-piste, the slightly secluded area of Tschentenalp (1950m) offers some nice options. Getting there from other parts of the ski resort - two gondola rides (C5 and D1) as well as a short walking distance in between - requires some time. Yet, it is worthwhile the effort as it makes the deep-snow tracks less crowded so that once there you will find some real pristine snow.
