Many challenging trails topped with spectacular scenery!

A total amount of 185 km of diverse skiable terrain make Adelboden-Lenk also an attractive option for advanced skiers. What caught out attention during the test was the enormous width of slopes and their very good preparation, creating ideal conditions for long carving turns. The biggest connected area, located on the trail map between the villages Adelboden and Lenk, offers the largest variety. Advanced skiers can show their skills for example on the red slopes (63-67) from Sillerenbühl (1974m) to Aebi (1530m). Also attractive for more sportive skiers are the red trails (26-28) which descend from Metschstand (2100m). An insider tip is the secluded area surrounding the Tschentenalp (1950m). You will meet less winter athletes there, as it takes time to reach this area. From Oey you have to take a gondola (C5), then walk a short distance through Adelboden followed by another gondola ride (D1). However, the trip is worth the effort because once there you will be rewarded with plenty of red trails and - if snow conditions allow - off-piste descents. Of course, a go on the worldcup-run (80) at the Chuenisbärgli (1730m) is obligatory! But also the notably wide red pistes of the two smaller areas Betelberg-Lenk and Frutigen-Elsigen-Metsch have much to offer for ambitioned skiers. However, you should try to avoid changing from one area to another too often, as waiting times for skibusses as well as distances will take up much of the day. Overall, with 4.5 stars Adelboden-Lenk is just beneath the top grade in the category „intermediate level“.
