Resort Review Almenwelt LOFER - Beginners
A novice dream-come-true!
| Evaluation Beginners: |
|
A first glance at the trail map reveals right away that this is a perfect resort for beginners. Once you’ve left the gondola of the “Lofer Alm-Bahn 2”, you can immediately get a full view of the great number of gentle runs (marked blue) at the plateau between “Schönbühel” (1623m) and “Schwarzeneck” (1565). For total newcomers to snowsports the “Kinderland Komfortlift” at the base station of the “Loferer Alm-Bahn 2” is the perfect spot for a convenient introduction to skiing or riding. All other blue runs can be also easily accessed from there. Two furhter babylifts named the “Faistauer” , are located at the base station directly at “Lofer”. All those who've had some skiing or riding experience can check out the slightly more challenging easy run from the “Schönbühel” (see trail map). All in all, the “Loferer” resort can be warmly recommended to inexperienced skiers as only few other resorts in the Alps offer better novice-conditions and so many nice ski lift facilities.
