Resort Review Alpbachtal - Families
Lots of good little skiers on Alpbachtal's slopes!

The best slopes for little beginning skiers are going to be the easy Galtenberg trail (12) at Inneralpbach and the bunny slope (13) at the very top of Gmahkopf. On the second of the two in particular, there were quite a few groups of kids with their ski instructors. Just beneath the upper terminal of the Alpbach gondola you'll find a great day care (no skiing lessons) where the kids are sure to be well-entertained. For lessons, head over to the Skischule Alpbach/Inneralpbach or the Ski- und Snowboardschule „Alpbach aktiv.“ Apart from the easy Familien trail (no. 4), which runs all the way from the top of the gondola down to its mid-way station, and the above-mentioned practice slopes, however, the slopes at Alpbachtal should really be left to more experienced skiers.
So if you're planning on exploring the entire ski area with your family, you should make sure your kids have enough experience under their belts.
