Alpbachtal has something to offer skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels, but it's the large proportion of difficult trails that attracts the many advanced winter athletes to the ski area. Freestyle fans can keep themselves entertained in the terrain park while beginners and families with small children will be best served on the easy trails 3, 4 and 13. First-timers are well-advised to exercise caution should they choose to attempt any of the numerous red trails. The large selection of mountain huts and apres-ski joints, on the other hand, is just right for athletes of any ability level. Cozy huts with breathtaking panoramic views and pulsing apres-ski bars will keep everybody happy, whether you're a DJ Ötzi fan, or just looking to have a relaxing time with your family.
