A ski paradise for families and beginner!s

Alta Badia, surrounded by the terrific mountain scenery of the Dolomites, is especially recommendable for Beginners and Families. The entrance villages to Alta Badia are Corvara (1586m), Colfosco (1645m), Villa (1433m), Pedraces (1324) und San Cassiano (1537 m). The ski resort provides a total of 130 km of skiable terrain with more than half of the slopes being of easy level. 8 gondolas, 30 chairlifts and 13 t-bars achieve a total uphill capacity of 75000 people per hour and therefore guarantee a smooth and convenient ascent. The ski resort is easily accessible via the Brenner (chargeable). For those coming from the south exit the highway at Kastelruth (between Brixen and Bozen). Continue via the villages St. Christina and the Grödner Joch in order to get to Alta Badia. For those coming from Germany or Austria the highway exit Brixen is more recommendable. Continue on the Pustertaler national road SS49 until you reach St. Lorenzen. From there continue on the Gadertaler National Road 244. The well constructed road takes you through a few tunnels and allows a fast journey.
