Beginners have several options to start their „skiing career“ at „Andermatt“. The gentle terrain below the mountain station of the „Gurschenbahn“ is recommendable to greenhorns. But watch out not to accidentally get on the difficult (black) base area descent. Those who want to check out a little more demanding terrain can try out the intermediate (red) run „Geissgrat“. As an alternative to the beginner area at the „Gurschen“ you’ll find 2 easy trails (blue) at „Nätschen“ and „Gütsch“. More practiced riders can also test their skills on one of the intermediate trails (red) there. But again – watch out not to accidentally get onto the black run down to „Nätschen“ once you’ve disembarked the „Gütsch“ chair lift.
