„Andermatt“ is definitely an attractive resort for expert skiers. There are several challengin black runs where expert skiers can test their skills. Andermatt however is much better known among freeriders for its pristine powder grounds! When snowcover is good Anermatt is the perfect destination for snow seekers who are eager to hit the ungroomed terrain with their extra broad freeride skis. All those who prefer "air" to "powder" have a small fun park with kickers and rails at their disposal. Only downer are the outdated ski lift facilities which transport you up hill fairly slow. The best sub area for expert skiers and riders is „Gemsstock“. The area around „Nätschen“ and „Gütsch“ is also recommendable to all those who seek some challenge. This area however can only be reached by ski shuttle commuting every 30 minutes. All in all "Andermatt" is definitely worth a day-trip for expert skiers!
