„Andermatt“ – A versatile ski resort!

The skiing region „Andermatt“ consists of three not directly connected sub areas located all around the cozy little village „Andermatt“: „Gemsstock“ (2963m), „Nätschen/Gütsch“ (2344m) and „Winterhorn“ (2460m). Coming northbound „Andermatt“ can be reached all the way by autobahn. From „Luzern“ it takes you a 75 kilometer ride on the autobahn „A2“. Once you’ve reached the ski area you can decide at which sub area you want to park your car and start off. The transfer between the single sub areas via bus or train is included in the ticket price. Keep an eye on the bus/ railway schedule to avoid longer waiting periods. The ski area „Sedrun“, which forms the resort compound „Gotthard Oberalp Arena“ with „Andermatt“, was not included in the test.
