For quite a few snow sports enthusiasts Après ski is probably almost as much fun as skiing or boarding. And the Arber truly provides the Après fans with numerous ski lodges. Insider tips are the Thurnhofstüberl and the Bergaus Sonnenfels (www.arber-sonnenfels.de). Appropriate prices (Jagatee (hot tea with rum) for 3,10 E, Spagetti for 5,10 can be found in each of the 4 facilities. Down hill runs to the base are possible also after the lifts close but Night Life at the Base or in proximity to the base is none existent. For those who want to party also once the sun has set have to go to Zwiesel, 10 km away.
