Arosa provides inexperienced skiers with 35 km of gentle terrain! Easy slopes can be found throughout the entire ski resort. Arosa is certainly among the best beginner ski resorts in Switzerland. The most beautiful easy slopes can be found in the so-called “Tschuggengebiet” (Tschuggen area). For absolute novices on skis we recommend the short practice slope that is also situated in the Tschuggengebiet. Furthermore descent number 5 (see trail map) at the Plattenhorn lift, or the very long but easy slopes leading down from the Hörnli Mountain (2511 m), fit the demands of inexperienced skiers.
