Lots of gentle terrain and kiddy lifts!

The skiing-area above the winter sports resort Arosa (1739 m) caters excellently to families. Fantastic ski and snowboard school programs provided by the “Micky Maus Alpen Club” will turn your kids into confident skier in no time. Beginner skiers and snowboarders will enjoy an easy, convenient introduction to the sport on the numerous easy slopes (marked blue) Especially the “Tschuggengebiet” (Tschuggen area) provides an abundance of gentle terrain. You can also find a special practice lift there which is just perfect for small children. Older children which have had some experience in alpine skiing won’t have any problems to tap the whole potential of the ski resort by skiing the many blue and red marked slopes. Families we recommend slope no. 1 leading down from Hörnli Mountain (2511 m) and descent no. 5 which is marked as intermediate level terrain and which can be found next to “Plattenhorn” lift. But Arosa offers families a lot more than just alpine skiing!. The natural ice rink in down town Arosa or the numerous sledge and hiking trails around Arosa are great alternatives to the slopes. Due to the ski-resorts family friendliness Arosa is nearly awarded our top grade and comes up to 4,5 stars out of 5.
