Arosa - the snow sure ski resort in Grisons!

Arosa: Ski-region in Grisons is guaranteed to have snow from December through April The Arosa ski resort is a 34km drive from Chur, the capital of Grisons/Switzerland. Motor-ways from Zurich, Germany and Italy lead to Chur. From all three motor ways it is possible to exit at Chur. In the centre of Chur a very small road leads to Arosa. Simply follow the signs and never leave this small mountain road until you reach the desired destination. Please keep in mind that snow chains are highly recommendable in case of bad weather conditions in order to safely reach the base station of Arosa at an altitude of 1739m above the sea level. About 500 metres from the base station you can find the main parking areas. Unfortunately a fee is required for parking there. The ski resort Arosa features 60km of groomed slopes (35km easy, 20km intermediate and 5km difficult). Hence Arosa is not among the largest Swiss ski resorts.
