The famous Maroon Bells also called “Matterhorn of the Rockies” due to its unique pyramid like formation is a spectacular sight. From the Cliffhouse at the 2963m high East Peak in Buttermilk you can enjoy one of the most extraordinary views in the entire Rocky Mountains. The patio there is an absolute must for all visitors to Buttermilk! There are also some restaurants at the base that see to the well being of the winter athletes, "Bumps Restaurant" and "The Inn at Aspen" are two cosy and rustic locations for a skiing break! After lifts close Aspen is the place to be with its 150 restaurants, bars and clubs! You are certain to find the perfect location to fit your fancy no matter if you want to let the evening wind down on a cosy note or on a rather loud note!
