Buttermilk features the best terrain parks in Aspen! |
Valuation Snowboarders:
|
Marking Buttermilk in the boarder category resulted in being quite difficult. Those among the riders that enjoy spending days and days at trying reckless jumps in terrain parks will be perfectly happy at Buttermilk. Believe it or not but a total of 5 terrain parks (Ski & Snowboard School, Teaser, Uncle Chuck´s, Jacob´s Ladder and X Park) as well as a Superpipe and a beginners Halfpipe (“Panda Pipe”) are at the disposal of all Air & Style fans. Buttermilk is also the perfect ski resort for novice boarders (details see beginner category). However powder fans will find the limited amount of ungroomed and difficult terrain rather fun spoiling. Apart from the few difficult runs at the “Upper Tiehack” lift Buttermilk offers little in the challenge department. Buttermilk is definitely a novice resort! Those that want terrain parks as well as powdery steeps will have to drive or take the shuttle bus to one of the other 3 ski resorts in Aspen.
