Aspen counts 5500 inhabitants and 8000 beds and therefore belongs to the largest ski resorts in the entire US. Consequently night owls have tons of party opportunities at their disposal! More than 150 restaurants are located in the resort, you can be sure to find the perfect place to please your palate! The number 1 après location in Aspen is the “39 Degrees” bar in the “Sky Hotel” where you can watch the most important sports events on large screens. “The Caribou Club” is the perfect destination for all those that are eager for some real partying. During daytime the patio of the self-service restaurant “The Sundeck” on 3414m above sea level offers unequalled views of the surrounding mountain scenery! If you want to be waited on and indulge in Bavarian cuisine we recommend “Benedict`s” at the “Ruthie`s” lift. As the slopes at Ajax all terminate in downtown Aspen you can slide directly from the slopes into Aspen`s nightlife. Even though you need a large wallet to “après” ski in Aspen we award the resort with excellent 5 stars in the après ski category!!
