Novice skiers and boarders are better off at "Buttermilk" or "Snowmass"

Evaluation Beginners:

There is no easy terrain to be found at Ajax! Aspen Mountain is known for its super steep mogul slopes! Those that have stood on skis before and are not complete novices to snow-sports can discover the intermediate terrain (earmarked blue in the US) at the “Shadow Mountain” lift. There is also some less challenging terrain to be found at the “Ajax Express lift”. Luckily the perfect beginner resort Buttermilk is only 5 km away. Snowmass also offers novice and intermediate skiers some nice slopes!
