Aspen is a popular destination for people from all over the globe. However there is not only the wonderful skiing that makes Aspen so popular, the resort is also a great après ski spot! In downtown Aspen there are 150 restaurants, pubs and discos to choose from. Snowmass Village is the quiet alternative to the 14 km distant Aspen Town which is certainly not a disadvantage. During daytime you can enjoy the spectacular view from the sunny patio of “Top of Knob” at the mountain station of “Sam`s Knob Chair”. If you like Mexican cuisine the “Two Creeks Mexican Café” is the place to be. If you don’t want to waste any time the best place to stop for a bite to eat is the “Ullrhof” at the “Big Burn” base, however the restaurant lacks atmosphere. After lifts close “The Cirque Café” and the “Brother`s Grill” in the Village are inviting and cosy places to let the evening wind down. All those that are eager for a bit more diversity or party are better off booking the accommodation directly in Aspen Town and take the bus or car to Snowmass.
