Really surprising to our testers was the nice array of Après Ski locations. Uncommon for French ski resorts is the large quantity of Après Ski lodges in Acoriaz-Morzine-Les Gets, at times even providing the same flair that is known to us from the Austrian Alps. Especially the possibilities to take a break from skiing in Avoriaz are excellent. Avoriaz is a sole hotel village where long after the lifts close sprits are high in the pubs and discos. InMorzine (in comparison to Avoriaz a village with pretty hotels and boarding houses) quite a few interesting Après Ski pubs and bars can be found. In quiet Les Gets there was none of the Après ski ambiance that we had experienced in the other two villages to be found. The prices for food and beverages are average for France. Gourmets can of course find restaurants of a higher price level which will certainly please their palates. All in all Morzine-Avoriaz-Les Gets is one of very few French ski resorts which receives our highest mark in the Après Ski category.
