The ski resort Axalp delivers exactly what its ski trail map promises. Its many blue runs are very easy to ski and its red ones aren't too challenging either. The resort is one big play and practice area for beginners and small children. For all more advanced skiers we recommend making your way to nearby Meiringen-Hasliberg (ca. 16 miles – or 25km away) or Grindelwald-Männlichen-Wengen (about 25mi – 40km). But those hoping for a peaceful mountain getaway will find in Axalp their ideal vacation spot with an incredible panoramic view of the dark green-tinted Lake Brienz at no extra cost!
