The evaluation is basically the same for snowboarders. Beginners will feel very comfortable in Axalp. There aren't very many ski resorts where learning to snowboard is as effortless as it is here at Axalp. The only thing that might make your first moves a little more difficult are the t-bar lifts. When it gets enough snow, conditions in the upper part of the resort are great for freeriders. Many boarders also ride the Stalden trail to take some wide turns on the fresh powder. There's also a small terrain park on the Chiemad trail Nr.3. But the beginners will probably have the most fun there, since the obstacles aren't exactly some of the more challengin that we've seen. Because of its good freeriding aspects and learning conditions for beginner snowboarders, Axalp receives a respectable rating of 3.5 out of a possible 5 stars.
