Well groomed slopes and nicely sloping crossovers enthuse beginners especially. The descents are broad enough to cater to both skiers and snowboarders. The lifts in Axamer Lizum are mostly chairlifts and a cable railway which makes the snowboarders’ day on the slopes a successful one. Those who long for more than just excellently groomed slopes can test their skills in the “Terrainpark Axamer Lizum” featuring rails and tables for all levels of ability. Unfortunately it’s a tow lift that takes the snowboarder up and around the funpark. However before visiting Axamer Lizum we advise snowboarders to get information on snow conditions (funpark!) and open lifts in order to tap the full potential of the ski resort.
