Bad Gastein – Multifaceted ski resort with good highway connection

Coming from the north it is recommendable to take the highway (Autobahn) A10 exit Gasteinertal by Bischofshofen. Then take the national road 167 to the Gasteinertal (Gastein Valley). Coming from the south it is equally recommendable to travel the A 10, the alternative are mountain passes which are often unnavigable in winter. Once in the Gastein Valley you can choose between 2 access points to the ski resort. We recommend families and novice snow athletes to start at the Skizentrum Angertal as both kidspark and beginners lifts are located there. Second access point is located directly in Bad Gastein. Both base stations offer large parking lots, thus guaranteeing a convenient and easy access to the resort! Explanatory Note: This ski resort was tested together with Bad Hofgastein because the two ski resorts are linked ski areas connected by Schlossalm, Angertal and Stubnerkogel.
