The nicest gentle terrain is located at the Arrowhead Mountain

Valuation Beginners:

A total of 20 % of Beaver Creek`s terrain is of easy level (green). This might not seam like a lot but considering the fact that a lot of the intermediate terrain is gentle enough to also be accessed by beginners, unskilled skiers do have quite some slopes at their disposal. Another plus factor: there are green (easy) slopes leading down into the valley in the eastern regions of the resort above Beaver Creek Village, as well as in the western subarea “Arrowhead”. Thus also less skilled skiers can explore the entire ski resort. Total novices are provided with perfect beginner slopes at the “Ski School Learning Area” located at lift 1, the “Buckaroo Gondola” and the “Highland Lift”. All those that are not completely new to snow sports will probably feel most comfortable at the Arrowhead Mountain which is home to gentle terrain at the “Arrow Exoress Lift” and the “Bacherlor Gulch Express Lift”. Only downer: the ski resorts Vail and Beaver Creek are internationally among the most expensive. Not all novice skiers are willing to pay these prices. Still Beaver Creek is a top class beginner resort and is thus awarded 4.5 out of 5 possible stars!   Read the whole test report ...
