Though only 4 Belalp's 14 trails are marked easy (blue), it's still a great option for beginners. With a little practice, even the „red“ trails can be skied by beginners, which has made it especially popular among families and groups of school kids. The best spot for beginners in Belalp is Kühmatte (6716ft/2047m).There you'll find a great kids' park with a lift which can be used by beginners of all ages. Next to it is a ca. 656 foot-long (200m) t-bar lift (G) which is also suitable for those still a bit wobbly on their skis. The blue trail number 10 (see trail map) is one of the longest in the resort and also the most scenic beginners' run.
