Skischaukel Berwangertal – Leisure skiing on 35km of groomed slopes!
Skischaukel Berwangertal is comprised of a total of 35 kilometers of groomed slopes, making it the largest ski area of Tyrol’s Zugspitz Arena. It is surrounded by the Wetterstein massif, the Mieminger Mountains and the Lechtal Alps. The best way to get to the resort coming from Munich is by taking the A95 toward Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Once you hit Griesen, you’ll continue over the Austrian border and after another 13km you’ll have reached the Zugspitz Arena. After going through Ehrwald, follow the signs toward Lermoos. Continue through the town and then head toward Bichlbach (for directions coming in from other directions, please visit the resort’s website at www.skischaukel-berwang.at). In Bichlbach you’ll find the first lift (1079m) leading into the ski area, with free parking at both the Sonnbichl lift as well as the Almkopfbahn. The next lift into the ski area can be found at Berwang, at 1342 meters above sea level. Here you will also find the much coveted parking spots at the Sonnalmbahn lift and the Egghof Sun Jet chairlift.| Final grade: |
