Over 50% of the groomed slopes at the modestly-sized resort of Marienberg are easy trails, with many of them advantageously located in the lower part of the ski area. This allows beginners to hone their skills on the long, generously-spaced Talabfahrt no.1 next to the tow B3 and the Marienbergbahn I lift. Farther up the mountain you’ll find a couple more easy (blue) trails – nos. 4 and 6. In order to get back down to the base from there, though, you’ll have to spend some time on either trail no.2 or 3, both of which are category red. But it’s really only first-timers who might have a problem with either of those. Marienberg Biberwier received a total of 4 out of 5 possible stars in the Beginner category.
