The idyllic resort of Marienberg has made a point of fulfilling the expectations of families with little skiers and snowboarders. Its kids’ park, Biberland, is equipped with a “learning carousel” as well as a 36-meter long conveyor belt where your little ones can have a great time learning the basics under the supervision of experienced instructors. Once they’ve acquired the fundamentals, it’s off to test their skills on the generously-spaced blue trail no.1, which can in part be accessed via a chairlift. As soon as their ski legs get a bit sturdier in their boots, they’ll be ready to take on some of the longer red trails (such as no.2) in the upper portion of the ski area. Marienberg earned a very respectable rating of 4 out of 5 possible stars in the Families category.
