Intermediate skiers can definitely spend a fun day at the Brauneck. The mountain ride in the gondola and the view from the mountain peak are spectacular. The descent down to the valley is fun and challenging! On visitor strong days we recommend you switch from the chair lifts to the tow lifts as the slopes are a lot less crowded. Especially recommendable are lifts9, 11 and 14. Make sure you also don’t miss out on the Waxenstein trail, the Stopselzieher trail and the Stockhang trail (see trail map) to Wegscheid. Lenggries is a nice destination for a day-excursion. However intermediate skiers will find the resort lacking chair lifts.
