The concentrations of blue runs above Plain Maison (8300ft/2555m) and Salette (7365ft/2245m) have turned into two big practice areas for beginners. These areas around the beginners' lifts at the base terminals of the chairlifts „N“ (Plain Maison) and „e“ (Salette), are ideal for first-time boarders or skiers. And there's plenty of room on the wide trails next to the two chairlifts to improve your technique once you feel a bit more comfortable on your board or skis. But until you do, be sure to take the gondola from Salette when you're ready to head back to the base. Some parts of the red trail no.1 could be a bit overstraining.
