Evaluating the Cardrona’s snowboarding adequacy was the easiest job our testers had that day. Cardrona has by far the largest facility where Terrain-Parks are concerned. Depending on the rush of people they can open up to four half-pipes!! (On normal days two half-pipes are open to the public). While the 150m long “Johnny Pipe” fulfils the international FIS requirements the smaller “Rookie Pipe” caters to all those that still need some practice. Every one of the three huge terrain parks specialises on a different ability level and caters therefore either to beginners, intermediate or experts in the “Air & Style” department. And to top it all off Cordrona features the 800m long “Gravity Cross” boarder –cross. But also free ride cracks get their moneys worth. Cardrona also boasts some beautiful deep snow runs that will enthuse any powder crack! Best marks for Cardrona in the snowboarding category, 5 out of 5 stars!!
