There are 16 huts, or restaurants, at Civetta which provide food and drink to the winter athletes. The view of the surrounding Dolomite massif is incredible from the terrace of the hut located on the Fertazza Plateau (the highest point at the resort). The other huts are also rustically-inviting for a short break or a small between-meal snack. Unlike that of the skiing meccas in the Austrian Alps, Civetta's apres-ski experience after the closing of the lifts is a rather peaceful one. A glass of wine with friends sitting in front of the fireplace is preferred to drinking or dancing till the break of dawn in a bar or club.
