Resort Review Civetta - Beginners

Almost every trail at Civetta is beginner-friendly!

Evaluation Beginners: Civetta: Evaluation: 4.5
Only 19 of the resort's 50 miles of trails are blue, but any skier who's every been on skis before should have no problem skiing the resort's red-marked trails as well. The bunny slope on Piani di Pezze above Alleghe is the perfect spot for first-timers to get better acquainted with their skis. Beginners are taken 100 meters up to the top of the slope on a comfortable chairlift, which makes things a lot easier for the less-practiced. A second practice slope can be found in Zoldo next to the t-bar lift Campo Scuola Palma. Our only criticism in the beginners category: There are no easy runs leading back to Alleghe or Selva di Cadore, which means beginners have no choice but to take the lifts back to the villages. Despite that, Civetta receives a well-deserved 4.5 stars in the beginners category.
