Resort Review Civetta - Experts
Civetta doesn't have much to offer real pros

Expert skiers are often looking for more in a ski resort than just an awe-inspiring landscape. Unfortunately Civetta simply doesn't have very many really difficult slopes. The steep run off of Valgranda, though host to World Cup races, is clearly too short to satisfy experts looking for a real challenge. The most difficult of the red runs are from Col Fioret down to its base terminal in Selva di Cadore. Though you will find various (ausgesteckte) slaloms and giant slaloms at Civetta, what's missing is a permanent training course (trainingsstrecke). Freeriders will also have to do a bit of searching to find powder runs, since the tree line tops off at around 6562 feet (2000m) here in Veneto.
