Families with little skiers are most welcome guests at Civetta. There are five ski-kindergartens, or ski schools, to teach your little ones the basics of the alpine winter sport. A well-constructed kids park and a magic carpet lift can be found off Piani di Pezze, up the mountain from Alleghe. In Alleghe itself as well as next to the Campo Scuola Palma lift are a couple short, „blue“ bunny slopes where kids can practice their first moves on skis. Parents with slightly more experienced kids shouldn't have a problem with the rest of the 46 miles (74km) of blue and red trails either. Thanks to the fact that at Civetta almost every trail is wide and very well-groomed, Civetta is a great place for the whole family to spend a fun-filled ski vacation set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of Monte Pelmo (10,394ft/3168m).We particularly recommend the wide blue runs off Col de Baldi (6299ft/1920m) and the red and blue runs off Monte Fernazza (6890ft/2100m).
