Believe it or not, Megève features a total of 100 blue and green trails (easy and very easy terrain). The majority of the gentle descents are located on the westsloap of the 1840m high Mont DÀrbois. However the perfect destination for novices to snow sports is the subarea Combloux. There a large quantity of trails leading down into the valley are of easy level. The “Jardineige” and “Prellet” lifts are sole beginner lifts. Unfortunately Combloux is not interconnected to the rest of the resort and can only be accessed with the free shuttle bus. Make sure to obtain information on the shuttle time table as the bus travels only once every hour between Megève and Combloux. It is also important to note that French platter lifts are not always easy to use and “Evasion du Mont Blanc” features quite a few.
