According to official statements there are a total of 33 black trails to be found in the „Evasion du Mont Blanc“ ski resort. However these 33 trails are difficult to be found on the trail map as most of the difficult grounds are short sections in mostly intermediate terrain. The nicest black trails are the Gd Cerf in Combloux a groomed steep perfect for carving. Then there are the 3 parallel running black level slopes “Princess”, “Bridans” and “Voltigeurs” at the 1840m high Mont D’Arbois. And last but not least and only for accomplished skiers who are strong of leg the very demanding “Chamois” at the 2525m high Mont Joly. If snow-cover is sufficient there are several natural mogul runs to be found. Special groomed mogul runs are not offered in Evasion du Mont Blanc however. A short permanent slalom racing track is located at the Crève Coeur lifts in Combloux. Experienced skiers can certainly spend a diversified and fun-filled day in Evasion du Mont Blanc!
