Skiing in proximity to Mont Blanc

The skiresort „Eavasion du Mont Blanc“ connects the ski villages Megève, Combloux, St Gervais, St Nicolas de Véroce and Les Contamines Montjoie. Due to its excellent location Megève belongs to the « Top of the Alps » resorts (details se www.bestofthealps.com). From the south it is recommendable to travel via Grenoble on highway A41 to Alberville. As the French highways are reliable to high charges (app. 10 eoros per 100km) we recommend to travel on the national road N 19 parallel to the highway to Albertville. From there take the N212 to Megève. From the North transfer to the A40 at Genève and then to the N121 to Combloux. At all bases sufficient amount of free parking places are at the winter athletes disposal.
