Athletic skiers who have high expectations of skiresorts will be thrilled by Crans Montana. The majority of the slopes are of intermediate level. The ski resort reaches up to the glacier Plaine Morte 3000m above seal level. Therefore excellent skiing conditions are guaranteed late into spring. When the weather allows the skiers are awarded with one of the most breathtakingly beautiful views of the Alps. The gorgeous valley of Wallis and the most famous mountains in the Alps, the Matternhorn, the Dufour-Peak and Monta Blanc. Especially nice is the quite challenging and long run descending from the glacier Plaine Morte in direction Barzettes. The excellent array of slopes and the modern lift facilities complete the very good result in the intermediate skiers category: 5 stars.
