Dachstein West makes the beginners heart go a flutter. All the novice lift facilities are situated directly in the valley. The gentle terrain is easy accessible via tow lifts. Small winter athletes will enjoy an easy, convenient introduction to skiing due to magic carpets and baby-lifts. Easy slopes can solely be found at the baby-lifts. Apart from the already mentioned terrain there are only two connecting trails which are labelled as easy. However most trails in the upper area of the ski resort should be easily tackled by novices despite their label as intermediate slopes. Fantastic ski and snowboard school programs which give every one confidence on the slopes can be found in the local towns.
